Sølvberget KF/Stavanger's cultural centre

The Arts of Hospitality - Open Port of Literature, Politics and Philosophy, was one of the first projects to become part of Stavanger’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2008. The Arts of Hospitality, Stavanger2008 project was hosted by the city’s cultural centre Sølvberget, Stavanger kulturhus.

Fasett developed the communication concept and designed communication materials for each project during 2008.

The Arts of Hospitality comprised eight projects that among other things were meant to challenge the way we practised and understood hospitality: What does it entail to welcome visitors according to the culture capital’s vision of an ”Open Port” in 2008?

-       Can all of Stavanger read the same book?

-       How do you establish contagious reading pleasure?

-       A book gift to all school children in Rogaland!

-       Exiled authors from all over the world each spent a week in Stavanger.

-       Would you like a book? You can simply take one from the Street Library.
