A. Idsøe

You have to tread carefully when you’re tasked with redesigning an institution that’s more than 180 years old. Since 1828, Idsøe has provided high quality meat and delicacies to discerning customers in the Stavanger area.

Fasett worked with A. Idsøe to develop a communication strategy including new logo, signage, recipe books, packaging and ads. 

Idsøe’s new identity has won a number of awards, including a gold in the Visuelt 07 Awards. This was the reason for the victory according to the jury:

“A great solution that addresses an essential problem for sign design and creates a direct connection with the 180 year old butcher’s history. Typography, colour, choice of materials and execution reflect quality and a tradition for craftsmanship. This sign design emphasizes and elevates the quality in its aesthetic environment.”
