Hall Toll

The nightclub Hall Toll first opened its doors in 2004 – a century since the customs house Toldboden in Stavanger was constructed. Hall Toll is located in the old storehouse of the Toldboden customs house.  

A cheeky twist to Norway’s coat of arms
During Toldboden’s time as a customs house, the state’s coat of arms lion marked the official character of the place. Fasett took this lion and gave it a less formal look. We wanted to use the lion both as a mascot and as decoration, with a lightly humorous but also stylish expression.
