Three golds for Fasett at Sterk Reklame

On Friday 4 November, it was time once again for the Sterk Reklame award ceremony.

Sterk Reklame is a competition that profiles the best in advertising and design in the Stavanger region to the rest of Norway, and it really was a golden evening for Fasett.
In total, we took home three golds, three silvers and a bronze after the award ceremony. The gold awards were split between two campaigns: The Hilsen Mor (Love Mum) campaign for BIS Industrier, which won gold in the ‘Text’ and ‘Campaign’ categories, while the launch campaign for the SVG airport app for Stavanger Airport, Sola won gold in the ‘Outdoors’ category.

We also won silver in the ‘Graphic Design’ category for Noreco, silver in the ‘Outdoors’ category for BIS Industrier and silver in the ‘Advertisement films’ category for Avinor. We won the bronze in the ‘Open class’, category and this went to the direct marketing we created for photographer Anne Lise Norheim.

Sterk Reklame is presided over by an expert panel of judges. This panel selects the best pieces of work amongst those that are submitted. The panel consists of some of the country’s and the region’s leading players within the field of advertising and design. The panel of judges does not simply select the best entrants; it must also justify its choices for the gold awards:

In the ‘Text’ category, the judges made the following comments on the gold award: “The gold winner was crystal clear. A fantastic concept, original, powerful and with text that sparkled and engaged to such an extent that the panel forgot that it was actually there to judge.”

‘Mor om 11 ting’ (11 things with mum) won gold in the ‘Text’ category.
 


The judges made the following comment on the gold award for the ‘Outdoors’ category: “The winner was obvious and very simple, yet also extremely original. Well thought-out and worth sending the job to Cannes Lions!”

(Cannes Lions is the world’s biggest creativity competition – as well as the most prestigious. And yes, judges, we will be sending it!)

In the ‘Campaign’ category, the judges awarded two golds – one to Oktan and Sola Betong and one to Fasett and Hilsen Mor/BIS Industrier. However, the justification was no less gratifying: “Both the gold pieces of work have in common the fact that they are they some of the strongest works to be produced not only in the Stavanger region this year, but also throughout Norway as a whole and perhaps even within the entire Nordic region.

The ‘Hilsen Mor’ HSE campaign has already been honoured this year with Gold at Gullblyanten, Norway’s national advertising competition. At Fasett, we are extremely pleased with this year’s results at Sterk Reklame. It is also pleasing to have won awards in several categories and for several different bold clients. We’re looking forward to the future with all of you!
